🧠The Brains Behind the Blorbs
Meet the neurospicy chaos engine who brought the Codex to life. This isn't just software—it's a rebellion against bad UI, executive dysfunction, and inaccessible design. Powered by spite, scanners, and sheer caffeine.
Welcome to the inner sanctum of Chaos Codex—a lovingly chaotic project built by a neurodivergent dev for anyone who’s ever wanted to catalog cardboard creatures while holding a cup of tea and screaming softly.
How It Started
In 2024, Johnny joined the family and brought with him a love of Magic: The Gathering—and a completely organized card collection. Meanwhile, Ren (that’s me, hi!) returned to Magic after a 25-year hiatus and promptly ADHD’d their way into a 10,000-card hoard.
As a physically disabled Autistic person (hi, lupus, myositis, EDS), I stared at the card mountain and said, “Nope. Not sorting that by hand. Not scanning those one at a time. Definitely not doing it on my phone.” What I needed was a desktop photo scanner solution.
So I built one. Chaos Codex is what happens when you mix MTG with executive dysfunction, chronic illness, and a refusal to use clunky apps.
What This Is
Chaos Codex is an MTG collection tracker that’s screen-reader friendly, colorblind aware, and doesn’t treat neurodivergent brains like a design flaw. You can bulk scan, manually correct, wishlist, sell, or just vibe with your cardboard gremlins.
Why So... Blorby?
Because we deserve joy. Because accessibility should be delightful. Because neurodivergent folks are tired of apps built like DMV kiosks. And because sometimes you just need a blorb in a crown cheering you on.
